Activation, Rolling Loud New York
In 2019, Jocelyn toured with Rolling Loud across the nation. Jocelyn conceptualized, directed, produced, and managed the entirety of every interactive art installation, hiring assistance from her nationwide network pool of creatives. These activations were designed to not only cater to and entertain a 70,000+ attended festival but intentionally and positively influence attendees to learn, to play, to connect with themselves and others. Every install also extended and served as an additional rest area.
For New York, Jocelyn designed a mock-up NYC sidewalk and stoop with wheat-pasted and graffiti tagged murals. Jocelyn hired NY-native graffiti artist by the name of Meres-One .The entire installation was βtaggableβ for attendees (they could write on everything). In addition to this popular activation was a zine specially made for this project. The βRolling Loudβ Times contained old-school Hip-Hop history in New York and as a culture.
