A Day Amongst The Red Rocks Of Sedona
My friend of 10+ years and I decided to spontaneously make the two-hour drive from Phoenix, AZ to Sedona last Friday. It was well worth it (always is). Sedona is home to boutique gem shops, upscale resorts, dreamy desert homes, red rocks and canyons, beautiful drives, organic fruits, vortexes and many hiking trails.
This isn’t our first rodeo. There was a time where we’d visit Sedona (seemingly) every weekend just to hike a new trail.
Some of my personal favorite are:
West Fork (pictured above and below)
Devils Bridge
Soldiers Pass/Seven Sacred Pools
Other recommendations include:
Elote Cafe for dinner
Sunny days at Slide Rock
Chapel of the Holy Cross
Browsing the Sedona Arts Center + Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village
Seek out vortexes
Spa’s (if it’s in the budget)
This is one of my favorite playlists to listen to when in Sedona (perfect for road-trips).
Yes, the water was cold!
