A Walk Through Pike Place Market, Seattle

pikes.jpeg

A couple months ago I traveled to Seattle, Washington alone to attend the Create & Cultivate conference and made sure I had some extra time to venture through the city prior and post the big event. I had been in Seattle once before over a year ago but it was a very brief, rushed visit with my best friend.

This time around I definitely got to explore much more and feel comfortable saying I know my way around the city (okay, maybe not that comfortable). In my first visit I got all the major tourist attractions out of the way, which allowed me to not feel so obligated to be much of a tourist this time around. Definitely saved me some time!

Although Pike Place Market is definitely a tourist attraction and I did visit it last time, there was no way I wasn't going to come by again... and again. It's just so fun to explore (I mean... if you don't mind crowded areas)!

Some things you must do when in this area of Seattle:

Eat a fresh peach from one of the fruit vendors (only when in season)

Visit Storyville Coffee and sit by the fire place

Indulge in the beauty & smell of all the fresh flowers + beautiful bouquets

Do a taste testing of various Woodring's jams (so bomb)

Walk through the Post Alley and eat some clam chowder

Check out the "Original" Starbucks store established in 1971

Get grossed out by the Gum Wall

Watch fish fly at the Fish Market

Enjoy my little gallery of photos from my last visit below!
